Sam Morris
Private Capacity Advisor
The work I do is for the man who has built a life beyond what most men could fathom. The man carrying more than he lets anyone see.The man whose drinking is threatening every area of his life: his marriage, his reputation, his career, and the man he sees in the mirror.
Whether his life is already collapsing or he can feel it coming, I stabilize the man and stop the bleeding, clear what got him here from its source, and then we reconstruct the man underneath.

My Work
My name is Sam Morris. I am a private capacity advisor for high-achieving men: founders, owners, executives, athletes, and principals. Men with companies, families, and reputations built around them.
Some of the men I work with are known far beyond their industry, with family offices that look after them. Some carry all of it with no one looking after them at all. The weight is the same.
I work with these men when they are quietly losing their grip on their own life. Often the visible edge is drinking too much, resulting in the collapse of a marriage, a slow disappearance from their own life, or a pattern of behavior they can no longer control.
Some men call me at the moment of acute crisis: the damage caused by their substance use, and the relationship rupture, and the reputation collapse that usually follow it. Others call earlier, when they have seen it themselves or been told, and the damage is still contained. Either way, I stabilize the man and the storm, clear it from the source, and lead him into ownership of what he created and his path forward, so the man who comes out the other side has more capacity, integrity, authenticity, and leadership than he had before.
Most men in your position are offered two things: talk therapy that barely scratches the surface, or a facility that requires you to disappear for a month or longer, which, honestly, is sometimes the best option. There is another way. The stabilization and reconstruction happen while you keep leading. No absence. Nothing to announce, and nothing to explain.

The men who refer me have a name for what I do. They call me the cleaner, and it is half right. One caveat: a cleaner is not a fixer. A fixer makes the mess invisible, so you run the risk of making it again. A cleaner takes it out at the source. The other half is the part no one sees: after the cleanup, the stabilization, we reconstruct from the inside out, to build you into the man your life needs you to be, so that you don’t create messes to clean up anymore.
You already have advisors for every area of your life. None of them handle this. I am the one you call to steady you and lead you through it privately. Nothing you bring me will be too much for me to hold.
My work is not talk therapy. It is not sober coaching. It is not addiction recovery. My work is reconstruction.
For the man reconstructing from collapse, and the man who sees it coming and wants to stay in front of it.

The Reality
The pattern is that it builds for years before it breaks. The whispers that were easy to look away from become screams that are too loud to ignore. Some men call me at the whispers. Most wait for the screams. The work is the same, and earlier means less reconstruction is needed.
The crisis is not the actual problem. The crisis is the evidence. It’s pointing directly at what you have been avoiding for too long.
Crisis happens when a man’s life outgrows his capacity to hold it and he collapses under the weight.
The Signs
By the time a man reaches me, the signs are usually the same.
- The marriage: breaking, and you both feel it.
- The business: still standing, and the cracks are showing.
- The identity: shaken at best.
- The reputation: one more bad night away from crumbling.
- The inner circle: asking questions, and quietly losing trust.
If you recognize any of these, you already know. The roots run deeper than the crisis, and they are already growing. You do not have to wait for them to break the surface to do something about your drinking.
The stabilization is not the end of the job. Once you are steady and the immediate crisis is contained, the work turns to excavating what created it, and reconstructing you from your nucleus, so that you have the capacity to hold the life you are living without collapsing under the weight of it.
The work begins when you stop looking away from what got you here.
The Method
We start with The First Ten Days: a private assessment of you, and your current reality.
Every engagement begins the same way: ten days in complete confidence, on the man, and on what is happening in his life. We look at where the drinking, and the surrounding behavior, actually stand. What they have already affected, what is still intact, and what the reconstruction will require. You leave with a documented plan of the path forward that is yours to keep, whether we continue or not.
We begin at the speed the situation demands. That means if the moment requires it, we meet in person, within days, not weeks.
What follows is a clear next step, and it is yours to choose or not. The assessment opens into one of two engagements. For most men it is the four-month private reconstruction: ninety days of work, then the Solo Flight month. For others it is twelve months of private advisory. I will tell you plainly which one your situation calls for, and if what you need is something I do not offer, I will tell you that too.
Whatever shape the engagement takes, the method and the objective within it are the same.
The method: Stabilization | Excavation | Implementation | Capacity.
The objective: a man who has the capacity, which he didn’t have before, to hold everything in his life.
We rebuild from your nucleus out: your nervous system, your identity, your integrity, and your leadership. Your nucleus is the center everything else in your life is built around.
Stabilization
We steady you, stop the bleeding, whether it is a hemorrhage or a slow leak, and audit every area of your life as it actually is right now so that we know exactly what we’re working with.
Excavation
We dig out the roots of what created the collapse.
Implementation
We anchor the new foundation in the places that matter.
Capacity
The foundation becomes the capacity, staying power, and presence to hold all of it.
I’m in it with you for all of it. Outside the scheduled calls you have direct, ongoing access to me: you have my number and I answer it. If a moment arises where you need me in person, you fly me in for forty-eight hours to stabilize and recalibrate.
Who This Is For
This works for one kind of man: the one who makes the call himself.
If your wife is the one who wants this for you, you are not ready.
If your attorney, your business partner, your closest friend, or your wife is telling you that you need help and you do not believe it yourself, you are not ready.
Your people can reach me about you, and some will. But the job only starts when you commit to it. It is your life, and it is your call.
Some men make this call from inside the storm. Others make it when the whispers get loud enough, before the screams. Both are the right time.
I cannot want this more than you do, and I will not pretend to.
If you found this on his behalf: For his spouse · For those close to him · For his board and advisors
If you have read this far and something in you went quiet, you already know.
